Our mission is to eliminate the externalities in produce consumption by designing, manufacturing, and integrating hydroponic farms into local communities.
We seek to implement the proven practice of hydroponic farming and design a sleek, modern farm built for individual consumption. Providing low-sacrifice ways for individuals to partake in the produce farming revolution is at the forefront of our vision. We see a future where it is not only possible for anyone to grow produce easily in their home, but grocers are also providing locally sourced produce across the spectrum. By using efficient and sustainable farming solutions, we strive to create a world where fresh produce consumption leaves a net-zero carbon footprint.
Owner and co-founder of Sustainably Local LLC, Matt is driven to create innovative solutions to global issues revolving around sustainability, environmental protection, and the elimination of externalities. Currently a student at Minnesota State University - Mankato, Matt worked with co-founder Landon to create Sustainably Local’s first mini-farm concept. His ambition for Sustainably Local is to re-think and re-purpose the already existing hydroponic industry in order to make it accessible and approachable to a mass market of consumers.
Born and raised in Mankato MN, Landon first got into hydroponics and horticulture while attending South Central College. After utilizing a small farm in his basement for 2+ years, he started to explore the viability of an all encompassing, at-home system designed for the consumer. As an entrepreneur today, Landon brings a strong vision and hydroponic background with a passion for sustainability and renewables to a company devoted to Growing the Future.
